GAiA TACACS+ Secret Recipe pt. 2

I received a few emails from some of you letting me know that TACACS+ in GAiA is nothing new, and that it has been there from the beginning. Well that is true to a degree, but my point in writing

I have been completing a lot of upgrades for customers, and have been recommending R77.30 across the board (with the appropriate Jumbo Fixes). From an authentication standpoint, the GAiA operating system has caught up and surpassed SPlat with R77.30. How?

I’ve heard it’s real close. Supposedly they are training some of the SEs on R80 this week, so I would think we will see it in the next few weeks. Just posting in-case you go looking for the download

R80 Announced

Not seeing it available on the downloads page yet. Maybe this is a “soft” release like the Sandblast Agent? This signals the end of SPlat and IPSO as they will not be supported

R77.30 Jumbo 102 “not good”

I have it from a good source that Jumbo 102 has some issues. Jumbo 105 is available and reportedly more stable.
