I keep running into this when moving a configuration from R77.x to R80.x
It’s interesting how many R77.x gateways out there never moved to 64-bit when they had the chance. Every once in a while this setting tries to slip through on a ‘load configuration’. Easy fix though.
set edition 32-bit
In R80.20 and above, this is forced as 64bit is the only option.
Yep understood that it is enforced. Just commenting that when I build fresh R80.x gateways, and import older R70.x configs (load configuration) into those devices, this setting has snuck through a few times…and fails to import. It’s no big deal, I just VI it out of there and retry. The first time I saw it though, I was alittle surprised as I didn’t remember seeing that command deprecated.
